The short version: NextEp does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything you track stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.
None. NextEp does not require an account and does not collect any personal information, usage analytics, identifiers, or diagnostics. We have no servers that receive your data.
The shows you follow and the episodes you mark as watched are stored in a local database on your device only. This data never leaves your device. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
NextEp fetches public TV show information (titles, episode lists, artwork, air dates) from the free, community-driven TVMaze API. When the app requests this information, TVMaze receives a standard network request (which includes your IP address, as with any internet request), but NextEp sends no personal information, no account details, and nothing about your watch history. You can review TVMaze's own policies on their website.
NextEp contains no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no analytics SDKs.
NextEp does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we ever change how NextEp handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Because the app collects nothing, we expect changes to be rare.
